Heavy duty industrial connectors from RS

RS Components has unveiled a range of heavy-duty industrial connectors – particularly for robotics and machinery, and in sound and lighting applications.
Called RS Pro the range includes rugged housings and inserts, that includes screw terminals and cage-clamp terminals with UL approvals – including UL90V0 flammability.
Inserts come in contact-number sizes including 3 PE, 4 PE, 6 PE, 10 PE, 16 PE and 24 PE.
Other features include: insulation resistance of over 1010Ω, >500 mating cycles and operation over -40 to +125°C.
There are two series of hoods and housings – made from die-cast metal. The Pro A housing series, in 3A size, is made from die-cast zinc and offers top entry, side entry, cable-to-cable, surface mount and bulkhead/panel-mount options.
Pro B housing series is made from die-cast aluminium and offers side-entry and top-entry hoods and bulkhead/panel-mounting and surface-mount housing options with double metal levers to provide secure locking. This comes in 10B, 16B and 24B sizes, and a single locking lever 6B size.
