Anglia sells Renesas microcontrollers

Anglia Components is now selling the Renesas range of microcontrollers, mixed signal ICs and system on chip devices.
This follows the acquisition of Intersil by Renesas Electronics earlier this year.
Achim Mescher, sales director for distribution at Renesas Electronics Europe, writes:
“One of our first steps as we integrated the Intersil business into Renesas was to review its channels to market. It was evident that Anglia’s deep technical expertise and outstanding logistical service has been a factor in expanding Intersil’s presence in the market in the UK and Ireland.”
The distributor will also be selling and supporting the Renesas Synergy IoT products. It has committed to train field application engineers to support the devices and technologies.
Anglia already sells the Intersil range of power management and analogue ICs.
John Bowman, Anglia marketing director, writes:
“This significant expansion of our product portfolio will help strengthen our relationship with all of our customers, and reinforce us as a strategic supplier offering a broad base of solutions.”
